About Us
There are plenty of Accounting & Finance recruiters in the San Francisco Bay Area and they’re easy to find.
You’ll also find many “Outside the Bay” firms. However, they lack the local connections and relationships that are so important to finding the right candidates.
What makes Attunement Finance & Accounting different is:
01
Our process: We utilize a thorough six-step process that allows us to produce outstanding results for our clients consistently.
02
As a small boutique recruiting firm, we limit our volume of searches to make each client a priority. This allows us to provide YOU with the high-quality, dedicated service and results you deserve!
03
We combine hands-on Accounting & Finance experience with years of recruiting experience. This allows us to truly understand you and your needs..
04
We take the time to meet you personally to understand you, your company, and your culture. This helps us market your organization more effectively and better screen for your company environment.
05
We are attuned to your needs to put “the fun” into your hiring experience.
Hi, I’m Emily and here’s my story:
Let’s start with business:
I worked in the Accounting/Finance field for ten years, working my way from Staff Accountant to Controller. I learned a lot from it but realized I had more passion for interacting and connecting with people (even accountants (:-).
I then went to Robert Half, where I received great training and was consistently one of the top recruiters in the SF office. After 15 years with Robert Half, I realized that I wanted to work with my clients more personally and flexibly, so I started Attunement Finance and Accounting.
It gives me tremendous joy and satisfaction to help my clients hire the best people, and I came up with the name “Attunement” as I knew that to make the correct placement for my clients, I must “Attune” into all facets of what they really value.
Okay, let’s move to personal:
I grew up in the SF Bay Area - Go Giants and Niners!) and lived in Los Gatos until I was young I went to Los Gatos High and then to UC Santa Barbara.
I have two kids, a husband, and a cat, and I love corny jokes and icebreakers.
My philosophy is every client deserves personalized attention and understanding. Hiring is not just throwing spaghetti to the wall “to see what sticks,” but the right match so we don’t have to repeat the process over and over.
